We at Partners In Rehab are committed to respecting the rights of our patients. Our Patient Bill of Rights are outlined:
- Our patients and clients have the right to being treated by our therapists and staff in a respectful manner free from any type of abuse (physical, sexual, mental, emotional, verbal and financial).
- Our patients and clients have the right to receive therapy in a manner that respects their dignity and privacy and their autonomy and participation in decision making about their care.
- Our patients and clients have the right to receive therapy in a manner that recognizes their individuality and is sensitive to and responds to their needs and preferences based on ethnic, spiritual, linguistic, familial and cultural factors.
- Our patients and clients have the right to receive services that are free from discrimination.
- Our patients and clients have the right to receive services in a culturally safe manner.
- Our patients and clients have the right to clear and accessible information about their care.
- Our patients and clients have the right to participate in an assessment of their needs, development of their care plans with reassessment of their needs and revision of their therapy plans.
- Our patients and clients have the right to designate a person to be present with them during their assessments and to assist them in the development, evaluation and revision of their therapy plan.
- Our patients and clients who receive care from more than one therapist have the right to receive coordination of care from our company.
- Our patients and clients have the right to give and refuse consent to the provision of therapy assessments and treatments. They also have the right to withdraw their consent at any time in the therapy process.
- Our patients and clients have the right to identify concerns or recommend changes in their therapy without fear of interference, coercion, discrimination or reprisal.
- Our patients and clients have the right to be informed of the laws, rules and policies affecting our operation including the Patient Bill of Rights, and to be informed in writing of the procedures for initiating complaints about the provider.
