Join our dynamic team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Language Pathologists and Social Workers involved in community therapy and interdisciplinary care. Positions are available in the following clinical areas:
⦁ PHYSIOTHERAPIST – ADULT HOME CARE:
Provision of in-home physiotherapy assessment and treatment
Clients include the adult population (18 to life) who are living in their homes and need intervention to promote safety, function, and independence with mobility. Areas addressed include recent hospital discharges, acute neurological impairments, acute orthopaedic impairment, aging in place promotion, balance, dizziness issues and mobility issues.
⦁ PHYSIOTHERAPIST – OUTPATIENT CLINIC:
Provision of physiotherapy services for clients with a variety of orthopaedic conditions to include fractures, soft tissues injuries, sports injuries, poly trauma, pre and post op conditions, work hardening, chronic pain management.
Provision of physiotherapy services for clients with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, concussion, post stroke, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological conditions.
⦁ SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – ADULTS AND CHILDREN:
Provision of speech language pathology assessment intervention and consultation services, for adults with neurological difficulties and for preschool and school age children, with a variety of communication impairments. Clients will be seen in the PIR clinic and in the community as required.
Qualifications:
- Licensed with professional colleges.
- Self-direction is essential.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Time management and organization skills are essential.
